How it started

A group of friends in Sri Lanka who began Trips With Gifts

It began in Sri Lanka with a group of friends who simply wanted to do something together.

Journeys and trips with volunteers who joined along the way

Over the years, more than 50 friends and volunteers became part of these journeys.

The habit of giving carried into getaways and new journeys across rivers and trails

The large trips became less frequent, but the idea kept travelling, carried into weekend getaways, family trips, and journeys somewhere new.

The idea grew bigger with every mindful traveler who carried it forward

The group grew smaller. The idea grew bigger.
